| Let's all get together at MetroFest | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

As some of you may or may not know, some of us in NyMetro have decided that it is time for us to get together and meet. So I have decided to make a homepage so we can begin organizing this more as spring/summer approcahes. Well the location of this meeting as far as things look is New York City. Most of the people in NyMetro are either from N.Y.C. or have some way to get to N.Y.C. EACH INDIVIDUAL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR FINDING THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE CITY. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE ANY TRANSPORTATION AND WOULD LIKE TO GO. YOU SHOULD SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN METRO AND MAYBE SEE IF YOU CAN MAKE AN ARRAGEMENT TO COME WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS A VECHILE (THIS SHOULD BE A LAST OPTION THOUGH UNLESS ABSOLUTLEY NEEDED!)I am trying to start this now so that everyone is informed of who will and who won't be able to attend and also so that we all can come to a decision on where we are going to meet and what are we going to do while we are there. So please e-mail me with confirmations and any other suggestions. I also would like to suggest that March 21st is the first offical day of spring so somewhere between this date and before the end of August the MetroFest should take place. Now I would like to assume that everyone in NyMetro has some certain level of maturity...but, due to the recent outbreaks of drama in Metro I feel it is very important that I make this statement...EACH INDIVIDUAL WHO ATTENDS METROFEST IS AND WILL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR THERE OWN ACTIVITIES SO IF YOU DECIDE THAT YOU WANT TO FIGHT FOR EXAMPLE THEN, IF THE PERSON YOU TRY TO ASSAULT CALLS THE POLICE, TAKES LAW INTO THEIR OWN HANDS OR WHATEVER ELSE UNDERSTAND THAT THAT IS YOUR OWN PROBLEM I AM FAR FROM RICH SO I CAN'T BE BAILING NOONE OUT OR PAYING FOR HOSPITAL STAYS SO PLEASE THINK BEFORE YOU ACT! | |||||||||||||||||||||||

I saved this part for last because I want it to be one the last things that you read before you leave this page. The whole purpose of the MetroFest will be to enjoy ourselves and become more accquainted with people that we already feel like we know so well. I want this to be a good experience for all of us. Not a typical web horror story. We can show all of these other chatrooms that we people in NyMetro may not have 50 people in our room, that we are the most close knit room in NetNoir and that we can all meet without any drama taking place (i hope)!! I wantto go home happy that we all met not regretting it. So lets all try to have fun and stay on each others good sides.(If you chose not to then, THATS ON YOU!) but, don't ruin things for others who want to have fun. If you can't get past your difference then thats one thing that you can handle with that person some other time. FUN IS THE KEYWORD! |
